With compliance date approaching, trading of CCERs is becoming increasingly active

5 May 2015 – CCER trading in China began on 9th March, 2015, and has become increasingly active since April. The most active exchanges are Shanghai Environment Energy Exchange and Tianjin Climate Exchange. Until now, there are few ETS involved enterprises which have bought CCERs to compliance, because many ETS pilots have set up CCER offsetting regulations restricting on the CCERs to be used in offsetting.
