The first batch of national standards for Accounting and Reporting of GHG Emissions has passed the review meeting successfully

16 May 2015 – Under the support of Standardization Administration of the People’s Republic of China (SAC) and National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the China National Institute of Standardization (CNIS) has been formalizing 11 standards (1 in General and 10 on specific sectors) based on national guidelines for accounting and reporting of GHG emission (issued by NCSC) since last April.
A review meeting for these standards was held on 13-14th May, 2015. Participants came from industrial associations, enterprises and related authorities. Finally, the drafts have been approved by review panel and will submit to SAC as voluntary national standards.
