NDRC Held Climate Change Training for “One Belt, One Road” Countries

21 April 2017 – On 20 April, the NDRC held a workshop on climate change targeting the countries participating in the “one belt, one road” initiative. Participants came from 18 countries including the United Arab Emirates, Ethiopia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Georgia as well as Kazakhstan. The trainings will last for two weeks. According to Mr. LIU Jianxing, deputy director of the International Cooperation Center (ICC) of NDRC, some of the most important issues regarding the “one belt, one road” initiatives will be climate change related topics.
