Cap Setting And Allowances Allocation Plan of China’s National ETS to Be Approved Soon

23 November 2016 – According to Economic Information Daily, cap setting and allowances allocation plans of China’s national ETS will be soon approved. Non-pilot regions have carried out verification of historical GHG emissions and capacity building work, while pilot regions started their own pilot ETS for year 2017, as well as research relating to how to connect such work with the national carbon market. More specific program details are expected to be reported before the end of the year.
